  • HOW SOON DO I NEED TO BOOK MY ENTERTAINMENT?

    You can book 1 day in advance or 2 years in advance. Our 2022 and 2023 calendars are filling up, so we recommend you book as soon as you can!

    HOW DO I SECURE MY DATE?

    To reserve musicians for your date, we require a 20% non-refundable deposit.

    DO YOU TRAVEL OUTSIDE OF THE PHILADELPHIA AREA?

    Yes we do! We perform across the States as well as overseas - we’ve traveled to Spain, and even as far as Malaysia!

    WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE? ARE THERE ANY ADDITIONAL FEES?

    The price covers taxes and service fees, sound production (complimentary mic & sound when you book us for 2 hours or longer), unlimited consultations, as well as travel across the Philly tri-state area (travel not covered outside the tri-state area). As per our contract, we do expect the client to cover the parking fees. If the event is 3hrs or longer, we kindly ask you to provide meals for the musicians. Also, keep in mind that if you’re paying with a credit card, there’s an additional 3% processing fee.

    WHAT IF I CHANGE MY MIND ABOUT THE INSTRUMENTS, NUMBER OF MUSICIANS, OR THE LENGTH OF THE PERFORMANCE?

    Sure thing! Nevertheless, you do need to let us know at least a month in advance to ensure the availability of any additional musicians. We also recommend discussing any changes with our music director to make sure they match your program - e.g. electric bass and Mozart don’t really go well together…¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    CAN I REQUEST SPECIFIC MUSICIANS?

    Yes, but we cannot always guarantee their availability. However, we we can assure you that you’ll get the same quality of service!

  • DO YOU NEED ACCESS TO ELECTRICITY?

    Yes - for our electric performances. It is important to keep this in mind. Even though we are equipped with lengthy extension cords, it is always better to have a power outlet close-by. Electricity is not needed for our acoustic-only performances, plus - we can also provide wireless mic and speaker!

    CAN YOU PLAY OUTDOORS?

    Yes we can! But please, bear in mind that we do have some limitations, as our equipment is very valuable and fragile. In case of extreme weather (rain, strong wind, extreme temperatures, snow, etc.) we require proper protection such as heaters, fans, tents, or umbrellas, otherwise we will not be able to perform.

    HOW EARLY DO YOU ARRIVE TO SET UP AND PREPARE FOR THE EVENT?

    We are all set at least an hour before the start time.

    DO YOU NEED CHAIRS FOR THE PERFORMANCE?

    We typically sit in our acoustic performances (e.g. in a wedding ceremony), whereas in our electric performances we prefer to stand - it’s difficult to fight the urge to dance!

    HOW MUCH SPACE DO YOU USUALLY REQUIRE?

    We normally need about 6 sq ft (2x3) per person, or - just keep in mind that because we play instruments we can’t stand tightly together. Also, there’s the sound system which usually requires the same amount of space as one person. :)

  • CAN I REQUEST SONGS?

    If you are booking us for your wedding ceremony, the song choices are completely up to you! We have some great recommendations if you need help choosing, but given enough time before the event, we can probably play anything you would like to hear when walking down the aisle.

    For prelude, cocktail hours, corporate events, and other types of parties, we have created playlists that can help you decide on a mood you want to set. You can also send us some songs you would like us to incorporate into the program (please do so at least 2 months in advance).

    Our always-hard-at-work music transcription team is ready to take requests for fully customized programs for your events. Due to the amount of time this type of work takes, there is a deadline to submit requests (2 months before the event date) as well as additional fees.

    WHAT TYPE OF MUSIC DO YOU PERFORM?

    We mostly play pop, jazz, classical, funky and upbeat as well as slower stuff. We don’t shy away from rock, either! Check out our meticulously curated playlists to choose what kind of “mood” works for you.

    THERE IS AN ORIGINAL OR LESS FAMOUS SONG I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR YOU GUYS PLAY, IS THAT POSSIBLE?

    Sure thing! Just email us the link to the song, or the score if it’s an original composition.

    DO YOU OFFER ANY OTHER SERVICES?

    In addition to performing as a string quartet, we offer many different kinds of ensembles, including jazz trio, full band, DJ, singers, DJs, but we can also help you connect with people who do lighting, photography, photo booths, etc. We’re here for you, just give us a call!

    I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO CURATE A MUSIC PROGRAM. WHERE DO I START?!

    Start by scheduling a call with our music director. He’ll be more than happy to help!

  • DO YOU PROVIDE MICS?

    Yes. We can provide wireless Shure or Rode handheld mics and lavaliers.

    WHAT KIND OF SOUND EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?

    Only Bose professional sound systems.

    WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN YOUR ACOUSTIC AND ELECTRIC INSTRUMENTS?

    We normally use acoustic instruments for our classical performances and smaller venues, e.g. wedding ceremonies. The electric ones are great for parties. They’re amplified and can cover big spaces and so we use them when we play our non-classical repertoire.

  • WHAT IS YOUR POLICY FOR POSTPONING DUE TO THE PANDEMIC?

    You get to change the date up to three times at no additional cost, as long as you notify us at least three months in advance.

    WHAT IF I JUST WANT TO CANCEL?

    As stated in our contract, the deposit is non-refundable. You can, however, gift this credit to someone else - we will provide a voucher valid for 10 years.

    WHAT PRECAUTIONS ARE YOU TAKING FOR PUBLIC SAFETY?

    We want to make sure everyone is safe! Our musicians are vaccinated and following the latest CDC guidelines.

  • I HAVE A GUEST WHO WANTS TO SING DURING THE CEREMONY, CAN YOU ACCOMPANY THEM?

    Absolutely! Just put us in touch with your singer and we’ll schedule a short rehearsal with them the day of, before the start of the event.

    ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT, CAN I DECIDE TO HAVE YOU STAY AND PERFORM LONGER?

    We’d be happy to! To make sure we don’t have any other commitments scheduled after your event, please communicate this with the band leader before the scheduled end time.

    CAN YOU PLAY AT OUR CEREMONY REHEARSAL THE DAY BEFORE?

    We’ve played thousands of weddings over the past 15 years, and we’re pretty familiar with any possible scenario. We don’t normally do ceremony rehearsals, because it is not particularly useful for anyone - plus, it takes away from the magic of the moment on the day of the ceremony!
